Belfast's Windsor Park has been one of the stadiums nominated to host the 2019 UEFA Super Cup.
The Irish Football Association's bid has been selected alongside Stadium de Toulouse in France and Arena Gdansk in Poland. There are four other nations in the running to host the final.
Meanwhile, Azerbaijan has put forward Baku's Olympic Stadium to host the 2019 Champions League final and Europa League final.
The almost 70,000-seater stadium will go up against Atletico Madrid's new stadium - the Estadio Metropolitano - to host the Champions League final.
The Europa League final, meanwhile, will be contested by Baku and two other stadiums - the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium in Sevilla and Turkey's Beşiktaş Arena.
Azerbaijan recently hosted the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games and would be best known to Irish audiences for hosting the 2015 European Games.

The Women's Champions League final will be held in either Budapest or Astana.
The UEFA Executive Committee, of which the FAI's CEO John Delaney is a member, will select the successful host associations on September 21.
