A crowdfunding effort to help those impacted by the Manchester bombing has already raised more than €450,000.

22 people - including children - died and 59 others were injured in the attack at Manchester Arena after an Ariana Grande concert last night.

The Islamic State group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

British Prime Minister Theresa May said the bombing "stands out for its appalling, sickening cowardice".

Following last night's tragic events, a JustGiving page has been set up to raise money to support families of those killed and injured.

Local newspaper Manchester Evening News said: "Readers have been asking how they can help, so we have started this fund to help support the families in the aftermath of the attack."

As of writing, the page had reached more than 80% of its £500,000 (€580,000) goal, with the amount pledged increasing by hundreds of pounds every minute minute.
