Mostly overcast today with outbreaks of rain in all areas. The rain will be heavy at times, especially across southern counties and accompanied by hill and coastal mist. Some dry spells will occur too.

Fresh to strong southerly winds. Mild. Highest temperatures of 16 to 19 degrees.

Tonight

Continuing overcast and breezy with scattered outbreaks of rain. The rain will be persistent near south coasts with drizzle and mist. Dry spells too - best in the north and east.

Fresh southerly winds. Very mild. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees.

50 to 70mm of rainfall expected mainly along coastal areas and on hills and mountains. Valid until 1am on Tuesday.
