Mostly cloudy today with outbreaks of rain in many places this morning, but becoming somewhat brighter during the afternoon and evening.
The rain will turn more showery and become mostly confined to northern and north-eastern areas.
Parts of south Munster will remain dry throughout.
Afternoon temperatures of 10 to 14 degrees Celsius, up to 15 degrees Celsius in brighter areas of the south in moderate northwesterly breezes.
Cool tonight with some showers mainly in parts of Ulster and most other areas will become dry.
