Today

Predominantly dry, today, Saturday, but feeling rather cool in a moderate northwest breeze.

Cloud amounts will be variable, with occasional bright or sunny spells occurring.

Scattered light showers will affect some Atlantic coastal counties, however.

Top temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees.

Tonight

Tonight will start dry in many areas, but a band of rain will move in off the Atlantic overnight to affect much of the country by dawn.

Minimum temperatures of 2 to 6 degrees, with lowest values occurring in the east, rising with the onset of the rain.

Mainly light west to northwest winds will back southwest overnight before veering westerly by morning.
