A man has been arrested for a public order offence on the Luas in Dublin this morning.

It is believed emergency stop lever on a tram was pulled at around 8.30am at the Goldenbridge stop on the Red Line.

A woman received minor injuries in the incident.

The man who was arrested is being held at Sundrive Garda Station.

The incident led to delays on the Red Line this morning, but normal service has since resumed:
