Meath drugs seizure prompts two arrests

Heroin and cocaine with an estimated street value €285k were recovered

Gardaí have made a further seizure of controlled drugs and cash at a location in Co Meath today.

A 35 year-old man and a 23 year-old man were arrested yesterday as part of the investigation. Both men remain in Garda custody.

Following an initial seizure at Pettetstown, Dunshaughlin yesterday, Gardaí from the Special Crime Task Force, in collaboration with specialised units from the Dublin Region, Armed Support Unit and Gardaí from the Meath Division carried out an intelligence led operation targeting Organised Crime.

During the course of the search, heroin and cocaine with an estimated street value €285,000, were recovered along with approximately €100,000 in cash.
