The video features the rapper firing a toy gun at a clown dressed as President Trump
Donald Trump has hit out at Snoop Dogg amid controversy over the rapper's latest music video.
In the video - a remix of the song Lavender by Canadian group BadBadNotGood - Snoop fires a toy gun at a clown character dressed up as the US President.
A flag saying 'bang' pops out of the gun after it's fired. The clown also appears tied up in chains during the politically-charged video.

Commenting on the video, Senator Marco Rubio suggested that "anything like that is something people should be really careful about" due to past presidential assassinations in the US.
He told TMZ: "I think people can disagree on policy, but we've got to be careful about that kind of thing because the wrong person sees that and gets the wrong idea and you could have a real problem."
Today President Trump himself tweeted about the controversy, suggesting the rapper would have received "jail time" if he had have "aimed and fired" at President Obama.
Can you imagine what the outcry would be if @SnoopDogg, failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama? Jail time!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 15, 2017
