Today

Today will start dull in the east and south with rain, but brighter and drier weather in the west and north will spread to all parts during the morning with sunny spells.

There will be just a few showers in the afternoon.

Maximum temperatures 12 to 15 degrees.

Winds will be mostly light, southerly or variable.

Tonight

A band of rain will track across the county tonight and will clear the east by morning.

Lowest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees.

Southerly winds will be just light in most areas, but winds will be fresh to strong for a time along west coasts.
