Cold and windy today with strong and gusty north-westerlies. Early morning rain and sleet will turn to showers through the day, with the showers more prolonged across the north and west of the country.
Highest temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees but feeling colder in the strong winds.
The strong winds will ease later this evening and the first half of the night will be clear and frosty. Most of the frost will clear later in the night as cloud increases and rain spreads across Munster.
Lowest temperatures of 0 to 2 degrees.
