At least 51 people have died and more than 60 have been injured after a bombing in Baghdad.

The Islamic State group has claimed it was behind the explosion at a car dealer's lot.

It happened in the Shi'ite district of Hayy al-Shurta.

The attack was the second to hit an Iraqi car market in recent days.

Reuters reports that at least 15 were killed in the Shi'ite suburb Sadr City yesterday when a suicide bomber detonated a truck in an area full of used car dealers.

Another four attacks in and around the Iraqi capital today have killed eight people and wounded around 30.
