Monday's weather: Dry with some rain later. Fog warning in place

Today

Dry today with some sunny spells.

Frost and fog in places will clear quickly this morning as temperatures rise to between 7 and 10 degrees.

It will become overcast during the afternoon and evening in freshening southerly winds.

Tonight

Cloudy and windy tonight with scattered outbreaks of light rain.

Lowest temperatures 5 to 9 degrees in fresh southerly winds.

Weather warnings

There is a status yellow low temperature warning for Connacht, Leinster, Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal.

Temperatures fell back to -3 or -4 degrees in some parts overnight.

And a status yellow fog warning is also in place for Connacht until 10.00am
