Thursday's weather: Staying dry with freezing temperatures expected

Any patchy mist will clear this morning and it will be a mainly dry day with light winds.

There'll be some bright or sunny spells and temperatures will reach between 7 and 9 degrees in light southeast winds.

Tonight will become cold with temperatures falling to near freezing in many places, with a frost likely to develop but it will remain dry. Lowest temperatures between zero and plus 2 degrees in light southeast to east winds. There may be a little patchy mist.
