Gardaí recover stolen property worth over €150,000

The seizures were made as part of Operation Thor

Stolen property estimated to be worth over €150,000 has been recovered by Gardaí as part of operation Thor in recent days.

Searches were carried out in premises at Carlow Town, Urlingford, Freshford, Castlecomer, Cuffs Grange and Moyne by gardaí from the Kilkenny / Carlow Division.

The “large volume” of property recovered included power tools, machinery, trailers, ornaments, antiques and bicycles.  

The searches began on Thursday 12th January and continued on into Friday the 13th.

No arrests were made during the course of the searches and investigations are ongoing.
