Wednesday weather: Staying dry and cold with frost clearing quickly

It will be clear and frosty across south-Munster this morning but there will be little frost experienced elsewhere. 

Generally dry and cloudy today with some brighter intervals in the south of the country; occasional patchy light rain or drizzle will affect northern counties.  Highest temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees in light breezes.

It will stay mainly dry again tonight with good clear spells and fairly widespread sharp to severe frost across the east and north of the country, Lowest temperatures of -2 to +2 degrees.  Patches of freezing fog will develop in the  calm conditions.
