There will be scattered showers this morning, mainly over the west and north but the showers will become isolated later.
It will still be windy for a time today but westerly winds will begin to moderate over the southern half of the country. It will be sunny but cold with top temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees.
Tonight will be dry with good clear spells. Winds will ease and back southerly. It will turn cold with lowest temperatures of 0 to -2 degrees and a widespread frost.
