Revenue officers have made a seizure of illicit cigarettes worth over €11,500 in Cork city.

The 21,000 illegal cigarettes were branded with two well-known British and American tobacco logos.

A Latvian man in his mid-twenties has been questioned and a file is being prepared with a view to prosecution.
