A man has been arrested in connection with a murder in Dublin last summer.

David ‘Daithi’ Douglas died after being shot several times outside a shop on Bridgefoot Street in south inner-city Dublin on July 1st.

Gardaí from the detective units in Kevin Street and Kilmainham arrested a man in his early 40s in the Dublin area this morning.

He is being detained at Kilmainham Garda Station.

It marks the fourth arrest in this investigation.

One man is currently before the courts in connection with the murder.
