Today

Cold early this morning with frost in parts of Munster, mainly in Cork.

There will be a few fog patches also.

Frost and any fog will clear to give a mainly dry day with sunny spells and just a few showers in the northwest for a time.

Highest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees with light southerly breezes.

Tonight

Tonight will start off dry. However, outbreaks of rain will develop in the south towards midnight and will spread over much of Munster, Leinster and south Ulster by morning.

Lowest temperatures of 0 to 5 degrees with frost in places, mainly over the northern half of the country. Any frost will clear overnight.
