Today

Any frost will clear early this morning, with many areas dry but rather cloudy.

However cloud will thicken to produce some patchy rain and drizzle across southern and eastern coastal counties, possibly turning persistent at times in the southeast.

Cold across the northern half of the country with maximum of 5 to 8 degrees Celsius, but values of 8 to 12 degrees Celsius elsewhere, with best values along the south coast.

East to southeast breezes will be light to moderate.

Tonight

Rather cloudy tonight and generally frost free, however with patchy frost for a time across Ulster.

Overall dry, but a little rain or drizzle in parts too.

Light southerly breezes will freshen later. Overnight minima will range 2 to 9 degrees Celsius (north to south).
