A new poll shows that Fine Gael has regained its position as the most popular party in Ireland.

The Red C poll for the Sunday Business Post also shows a slight drop in support for Fianna Fáil, while the big winners were Sinn Féin.

Almost all of the changes in this latest monthly poll are within the margin of error.

The London 2012 gold medallist beat Poland's Karina Kopinska with a third round stoppage at Wembley Arena.

Ireland have added a win over Australia to a victory each against the other Southern Hemisphere giants New Zealand and South Africa in 2016 with a 27-24 triumph at the Aviva Stadium.

They attacked the Wallabies with intent from the start turning down two early shots at goal to go to the corner.
