Wednesday's weather: Generally dry day, but temperatures dropping to -4 tonight

Tonight

Very cold and frosty again tonight with lowest temperatures zero to minus 4 degrees.

A chilly frosty start with icy patches and a few fog pockets.

A generally dry day following with good sunshine but it will become somewhat cloudier in parts of the southeast and east with a few showers.

Cold with top temperatures of 5 to 7 degrees Celsius in many areas but 8 or 9 in some coastal fringes.

Tonight

Very cold and frosty again tonight with lowest temperatures zero to minus 4 degrees.

The lowest values occurring in the North where there will be calm conditions and also some freezing fog patches.

A fresh northeast breeze will keep the frost at bay along the southeast coast.
