Police in the North have arrested three people on suspicion of a number of drugs offences in County Antrim.

Two men, aged 18 and 19, and a 39 year old woman were arrested following a planned search of a house in the Angus Street area this morning.

The woman has also been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence.

A number of items, including a suspected firearm and a quantity of suspected Class A and Class B controlled drugs, have been seized for further examination.

All three have been taken to a police station in Belfast for questioning.
