The leader of Sinn Féin has been asking people to help him find his red scarf.

Gerry Adams misplaced it in the Kilmainham area of Dublin, while attending the all-island Brexit forum on November 2nd.

He tweeted his followers the next day, complete with a name for the scarf.

"I lost my favourite red scarf. Had it @ Kilmainham yesterday evening. It answers 2 name of Rua. Reward 4 its return".

On November 3rd, he tweeted: "Still no sign of Rua. I recall I gave him 2 RG when I went in2 Fir yday @ Kilmainham.Thats last I saw him. Rua ie not RG. Codladh samh xoxzz".

But his latest tweet about it has raised some eyebrows - and voices

The short video clip shows a woman sitting with a bunch of flowers, who Mr Adams says he has "hired" to find his scarf.

However, the image then turns into the face of a skeleton with a loud scream.
