Dublin Fire Brigade has extinguished a fire off Aungier Street in Dublin city centre.

The fire broke out at 12.50pm this afternoon in an industrial unit near York Street.

Four units of Dublin Fire Brigade dealt with the blaze.

It is believed the fire was caused by a collection of burning materials that had been gathered ahead of Halloween.

Part of York Street was closed earlier as a result.
