Sinn Fein calling for an extra €340m to be spent upgrading the water system

Sinn Féin wants to see an extra €340 million in capital funding spent on upgrading the water system.

The party wants a total of 1.2 billion euro allocated to capital spending, in next month's budget announcement.

Sinn Fein's plan includes investment in more than 7-thousand social homes for 2017, 40-million euro in third level education and 100-million euro on upgrading regional roads.
