Two men have been arrested in Cork as part of an operation targeting organised crime.
Gardaí also recovered stolen property as part of an ongoing investigation.
The two men, aged in their 30s and 40s, were arrested Monday during a search and arrest operation involving gardaí from Cork City, Cork North and West divisions.
Members of the Regional Support Unit and Dog Unit were also involved.
Six locations were searched in the Cork city and county areas during the operation - and two boat engines were seized.
The two men are being detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act at Cobh garda station.
The operation is part of a coordinated investigation into the activities of an organised crime group involved in the distribution of stolen property, marine theft and an aggravated burglary in Cork.
