Smalltown - Final episode - TV3 - Thursday 9.30pm

The final episode of three-part drama Smalltown on TV3, starring Pat Shortt and directed by Gerard Barrett. Conor has returned home to spend time with his dying mother, and takes his anger about the situation out on his brother Timmy. 

 

The Stranger - RTE1 - Thursday 10.15pm 

This documentary investigates the story of Neal MacGregor, an English artist who died at 44 on a remote island off the coast of Ireland, with no heat, running water or electricity. But for the 8 years he lived there, his background remained a mystery to the other islanders.

 

Hooten and the Lady - Sky1 - Friday 9pm

In this brand new action drama from Sky 1, historical expert Lady Alexandra Lindo-Parker teams up with maverick adventurer Hooten, to travel the world searching for hidden treasures.

 

Best Album of the Year 2016 - Mercury Prize Live - BBC4 - Thursday 9pm

Lauren Laverne will host BBC Four's Best Album of the Year 2016 - Mercury Prize Live, marking the 25th anniversary of the award.

 

Later Live... Jools Holland - NEW SERIES - BBC2 - Tuesday 10pm / Full episode - Friday 11.05pm

Jools is back, and the first episode of this series sees Kings of Leon play material from their new album 'Walls', Jack White with his solo acoustic debut, Sting, Banks and M83.
