A 26 year old man has been charged with attempted murder and is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court this morning, Monday 29 August.

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service. 

The charge is in relation to a stabbing incident in the Brittons Parade area of Belfast on Saturday night, 27 August. A 23 year old man was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries.
