'Ranveer Ching Returns' adds original songs and dance numbers to George Miller's epic style
When Mad Max: Fury Road was released in cinemas last summer, it was hailed as a modern classic, striking a chord with fans and critics alike with each strum of its fabulous flamethrowing guitar. Now Bollywood has taken notice, and will add original songs and dance moves to the convoys of truck-driving warriors, with a new rip-off movie Ranveer Ching Returns.
Directed by Rohit Shetty, a famous Bollywood filmmaker who’s helmed the likes of Chennai Express and Dilwale (the sixth highest grossing Bollywood film ever made), Ranveer Ching Returns packs a lot into its trailer. Set in a dystopian future world where a food shortage is ravaging the remnants of society, only one king can save the survivors from total annihilation.
Starring Ranveer Singh and Tamannaah Bhatia, the film is like no Bollywood film you’ve ever seen, with massive action set pieces and props. You can take a look at the trailer in full below:
