Dull and misty this morning, with some rain and fog in places. But brighter for this afternoon with just scattered showers and a few sunny spells also. A further spell of rain will get into southwest Munster around nightfall.

Breezy wet weather, in the southwest of Ireland early tonight, will become widespread overnight, with some heavy and possibly thundery falls of rain in places. Fresh and gusty southeast to east winds will develop also and will be strong along the south coast.
Close and humid, with lowest temperatures 10 to 13 C.
