Overcrowded bus is reported to have fallen about 150 metres
At least 33 people have died after a bus fell off a mountain road in Nepal, according to reports.
AP cites a government official as saying 28 injured people were taken by ambulance to hospitals in Kathmandu for treatment.
The overcrowded bus fell around 150 metres after swerving off Arniko highway, AP said.
Injured people were reportedly being brought by helicopter to Kathmandu and treated in two hospitals.
The route lies northeast of the Kathmandu Valley, on Nepal's border with China.
It is considered one of the most dangerous highways in the country due its steep slopes.
Heavy rains have caused multiple landslides on the road in recent years.
Police are trying to determine the cause of the crash.
