A woman in her 30s and three young girls were inside the house
Police in the North are investigating an arson attack on a home in Belfast yesterday.
Flammable liquid was poured through the letterbox of the house on Ormeau Embankment and set alight at around 6.20am.
A woman in her 30s and three young girls were inside when the blaze took hold.
They escaped uninjured, and police say they 'left shaken' by their ordeal.
Police and the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene, and the fire was extinguished.
Damage was caused to the inside and outside of the front door, police say.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
