Teenagers apprehended after breaking out of Dublin detention centre

Five young offenders who escaped from a detention centre in Dublin are back in custody this morning.

The teenagers broke out of Oberstown detention centre yesterday evening.

Gardaí launched a search operation to find the youths.

Air support unit and the dog unit were involved in the search.

The group was apprehended nearby at about 10pm last night, and returned to the centre.
