Local media in Spain are reporting that two people have been injured in a shooting in the north east of the country.

The shooting is believed to have taken place around 11.00am local time close to the Aragonia shopping centre, in the city of Zaragoza.

Regional paper, Heraldo de Aragon, is reporting that the gunman carried out the attack on his wife and daughter before shooting himself.

The man and his wife are being treated in hospital. The man is believed to have been seriously injured, while the condition of the woman is so far unclear. The daughter was uninjured.

The shooting is believed to be a domestic incident and not terror related.
