A 4-year-old boy has died after an "incident" at holiday park swimming pool in Britain.
The boy was injured following the incident on Monday.
Officers were called to Old Park Wood in Grange-over-Sands in Cumbria.
The child was taken to Furness General Hospital before being transferred to Alder Hey in Liverpool, where he was in a critical condition.
But police have confirmed he has since died.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident, but the death is not being treated as suspicious.
In a statement, Cumbria Police say: "Police can confirm that the 4-year-old boy involved in this incident has sadly died."
"Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident but the death is not being treated as suspicious."
