Today

It will be unseasonably windy today over Ulster and Connacht with gales on exposed coasts, elsewhere it will be quite breezy with fresh southwest winds, becoming westerly later.

It will be mainly dry in the morning with sunny spells, but scattered outbreaks of rain will spread from the northwest during the afternoon and evening.  Highest temperatures of 17 or 18 degrees over Connacht and Ulster and between 20 and 22 degrees over Munster and Leinster.

There'll be showers over night in Ulster and parts of the west of the country but otherwise it will be dry with clear spells. Temperatures will fall to between 11 and 13 degrees and the fresh westerly winds will ease.

Tomorrow

Monday, will be a cooler, fresher day everywhere with moderate northwest winds bringing scattered showers, most frequent in the north of the country, but becoming mostly dry in the evening. Temperatures just 16 to 18 degrees in the afternoon.
