Three men have been seriously injured after they were stabbed at a home in Wolverhampton.

Police discovered two of the men with stab wounds inside the house in Goldthorn Hill.

A third man was found in the back garden of the property.

West Midlands Police said a car was spotted driving away from the area soon after the attack.

The men - aged 27, 31 and 36 - were treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital.

Detectives have been searching an area of Goldthorn Hill, which has been cordoned off.

Sergeant Carl Russell said officers are trying to establish a motive for the attack and are appealing for witnesses.

"Incidents of this nature are unusual in the area and we would reassure local residents that we are doing everything we can to locate those responsible," he said.
