Today will be mostly bright with some good sunny spells, however there will be some showers.
Rain will become heavy at times in the east during the afternoon and early evening, while showers in the west will become isolated later in the day.
Temperatures will be between 17 and 20 degrees.
Met Éireann has said it will be dry with clear skies in most places tonight. It will be cooler than recent nights though with lowest temperatures of 8 to 12 degrees.
Better weather is on the way tomorrow with good sunny spells and only a few passing light showers. It will feel much the same as today, with highest temperatures of 17 to 20 degrees.
However, Saturday is due to be very warm and humid across the country, with temperatures ranging between 19 and 25 degrees. Most places will get sunshine and dry weather, though south and southwest coasts may become dull.
Enjoy it while you can! Saturday night will see a band of rain crossing the country from the west, with southerly winds veering westerly by Sunday morning.
