J.K. Rowling has confirmed that there will be no more books in the Harry Potter series.

Speaking to Reuters at the premiere of the stage version of "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" she said: "He goes on a very big journey during these two plays and then, yeah, I think we're done. This is the next generation, you know."

"So, I'm thrilled to see it realized so beautifully but, no, Harry is done now," she added. 

The play totals nearly five hours in length and is split into two parts.
