Dull and damp to start today with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Drier conditions developing in the northwest will extend southwards through the rest of the morning and then it will brighten up everywhere to a day of sunny spells and just a few scattered showers.
Highest temperatures of 17 to 20 degrees, mildest across the midlands, south and east. Becoming less humid than recently as a light northerly breeze brings clearer, fresher conditions.
Tonight will be mainly dry with clear spells, there will, however, be isolated showers in the west and northwest, becoming more frequent in the northwest towards morning.
Lowest temperatures 10 or 11 degrees. Light northerly winds will back westerly overnight.
