Information supplied by Met Éireann
Usually weather warnings mean bad things in Ireland, but not today!
Met Éireann has issued a yellow warning for the entire country as temperatures are set to reach 27 degrees.
The warning is in place from 10.00am this morning to 8.00pm tonight.
Overall the weather will be very warm and mostly sunny for the day across the country, with highest temperatures of between 24 and 29 degrees.
It will be warmest in the midlands and Connacht and could reach 30 degrees in some places.
Enjoy it while you can though, as Met Éireann forecaster John Eagleton says the high temperatures won't last and will return to 17 to 20 degrees tomorrow.
This evening, heavy or thundery showers may develop in parts of Connacht and west Ulster.
Cloud will also increase near the south coast tonight, with some outbreaks of rain in many areas for a time.
Tonight will feel mild, close and humid with temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees.
