Many places dry will be dry today, with some hazy sunshine developing in Leinster and east Munster.
However, southern, western and northern coasts will have fog and drizzle, with rain becoming persistent in the west and northwest by evening.
Highest temperatures will be between 17 to 23 degrees, warmest in the east and southeast. Moderate, occasionally fresh, southwest winds will veer southwest to west later.
Outbreaks of rain or drizzle will become more widespread for a time, and there will extensive hill and coastal fog.
However, as the night goes on, it will become dry in Ulster and Connacht.
Winds will be light to moderate, southwest to west and it will stay rather mild, with lowest temperatures from 11 to 15 degrees.
