The cyclist was rushed to hospital following the crash
Gardaí are investigating after a hit-and-run crash in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.
The incident happened when a 26-year-old man was knocked off his bicycle by a car on Strand Road in Baldoyle shortly before 1am.
The car failed to remain at the scene while the cyclist was rushed to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
Gardaí seized a black Volvo car in the Coolock area and they are continuing to search for the driver.
