This morning will start mostly dry with mist and fog soon clearing. Scattered showers will develop in most areas, however, and will turn heavy by early afternoon with the risk of thunder, especially in the east and north. West Muster and Connacht will see fewer showers in the afternoon but outbreaks of rain will push into the southwest by the afternoon and evening. It will be warm and humid across the country, with top temperatures of 18 to 22 degrees.

Outbreaks of rain will spread eastwards tonight, turning persistent for a time. It will stay mild and humid with lowest temperatures of around 12 to 14 degrees.
