€10,000 worth of cannabis herb was also found during the raid
Gardaí are continuing to question a man in his 30s following the seizure of €1.4 million worth of heroin in Dublin’s south city centre.
The drugs were found during the search of a premises on Kevin Street in Dublin 8 yesterday as part of Operation Thistle.
Around €10,000 worth of cannabis herb was also recovered.
Operation Thistle was set up to target organised criminals in Dublin’s south city centre.
The man is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act at Kevin Street Garda Station.
