The man was found with a gunshot wound to his leg
The PSNI are investigating after a man in his 30s was shot in west Belfast yesterday evening.
The man was found with a gunshot wound to his leg in Glenkeen in the Poleglass area of west Belfast at around 10.20pm. It is believed that he was shot in an alleyway nearby.
He is being treated in hospital for his injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.
Inspector Brian Mills of the PSNI is appealing for information about the incident and is asking anyone who noticed any suspicious activity to call detectives at Musgrave on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
