Two arrested as part of NAMA property deal investigation

Two men have been arrested by the UK's National Crime Agency in a fraud investigation linked to the sale of NAMA's property portfolio in Northern Ireland.

They were detained earlier during searches in Co Down.

Detectives are investigating the controversial £1.2 billion sale of assets and property owned by NAMA.

The portfolio was sold off to the US investment firm Cerberus, in the north's biggest ever property deal.
