Mist and fog will thin and clear this morning with good spells of sunshine developing.
Some heavy thundery downpours will develop in places this afternoon, mainly away from eastern coastal counties.
Warm with highest temperatures of 18 to 20 degrees generally, with about 16 or 17 degrees along coastal fringes in light mainly northeasterly breezes.
The heavy showers will die away through the evening and tonight will be mainly dry with clear periods.
Mist and fog will return and become dense in places overnight. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees.
