Three injured in serious crash in Co Clare

Accident occurred at Cranny Cross on the Ennis-Kilrush road

Three people have been injured in a crash in County Clare.
The N68 Ennis-Kilrush Road remains closed this lunchtime, following the accident at Cranny Cross on the Kilrush side of Lissycasey.
The collision occured before 12 noon, and it's understood that three poeple have been injured, though the extent of their injuries remains unclear at this stage.
Gardaí were called to the scene, along with ambulances and three units of the fire service from Kilrush.
Gardaí say the road will remain closed until further notice.
